Hauling out of Albuquerque since 1978

American Waste Removal, AWR to the people who work there, pumps grease traps, jets sewer lines and hauls septic tanks. The company’s own line, repeated across its website, reads: servicing New Mexico, Southern Colorado, Eastern Arizona and West Texas since 1978.

Headquarters is 502 Carmony Ln. NE in Albuquerque. A second office in Flora Vista runs the Four Corners septic line. The plumbing arm goes by AWR Plumbing: repairs, repipes, water heaters and gas piping for homes and commercial kitchens.

Most of the schedule is the grease trap pump-out and the hot-jet line clean. The rest of the list grows out of those two.

The year on the company’s footer, and the year every other line on this page counts from.

Tankers, a red jetter and the vans

  • Stainless vac tankers that pull a trap, interceptor or septic tank down to empty.
  • A red trailer-mounted hot-jet unit that sends water down a line at up to 4,000 PSI.
  • Service vans lettered “Commercial Sewer & Drain Cleaning”, with the phone number on the door.

Customers name the crew

Two Google reviewers put first names on the people who showed up: Colton and his team, and Curtis. Both are quoted whole below, the way they were written.

Curtis sent photos of the cleaned trap afterward. See how a trap service runs from the first call.

“Colton and his team are great to work with! I’ve used them several times over the years to pump my grease trap at our business and the septic at our home. Also snaked the drains when needed. Wouldn’t use anybody else. Very friendly and professional every time.”

Chris Evans, Google review

“Curtis was helpful from the very beginning and communicated clearly throughout the process. He explained the work that was completed and even provided photos of our grease trap once it was cleaned, which we decided to have serviced early.”
